Blogs are pretty great. I commend you for keeping one and posting good things. I often go blog hopping or whatever (clicking the "next blog" button at the top of the screen) and about every 10-15 blogs is one of a member of the Church. There will be a temple picture, or a wedding picture, or a post about sacrament meeting and the bishop or whatever. What a great community!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01283856505860126799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7356874.post-30362477085200511852008-11-17T13:30:00.000-08:002008-11-17T13:30:00.000-08:00Levi, part of me wishes that I could sit in on my ...Levi, part of me wishes that I could sit in on my dad's interviews now. Quietly. In the corner maybe. In a chair next to him. Wherever. And listen to him say to someone else yes, yes I'm honest, yes I believe, no I do not know of any reason I should not go into the temple. Good goo, the church can do such human and such epic things for the hearts of families!Sarah Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10202621268907458846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7356874.post-20580931318124175922008-11-17T12:51:00.000-08:002008-11-17T12:51:00.000-08:00Funny you should mention bishop's interviews and d...Funny you should mention bishop's interviews and daddy daughter dates. Yesterday Rebecca and I had temple recommend renewal interviews - Rebecca went first, and then had to run off to a meeting, so I had Adelaide with me during my interview. It was a really sweet experience to sit there with my daughter on my knee and answer questions about my testimony, commitment, worthiness, etc., though she didn't understand a word. I thought, we probably won't do this very often in our lives, but it sure is nice to be together at this very moment.Levi Smyliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00359144324138100401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7356874.post-35362008174694526752008-11-17T12:29:00.000-08:002008-11-17T12:29:00.000-08:00I'm sorry to be this friend, but I came back and r...I'm sorry to be this friend, but I came back and read this again, a week later, and it made me cry. He makes all of us feel that way, as if we are the very most important sister or brother-in-law he has and if he had more time, he would spend it discussing neat things with us--like--heal the Dead Sea. Heal the Dead Sea? How are we going to do that? Okay, my mind did wander while I was in Relief Society today, but then the lesson WAS in Japanese:)<BR/>Love, your Aunt KandieKandie & Keithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09932020438515861006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7356874.post-53288572312579511762008-11-13T17:46:00.000-08:002008-11-13T17:46:00.000-08:00Oh Sarah. I was so happy when I got to that point of this post when you said you figured out the answer because I was feeling you, feeling you--getting all indignant that I didn't see Levi once last Sunday--thinking about how my grandmother said that Sundays were her least favorite day, just really feeling you. Oh I was glad to hear your answer. I think it's a right answer too. As ever, you're brilliant.Rebecca Smyliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516884636911223235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7356874.post-83478604402485789972008-11-13T07:29:00.000-08:002008-11-13T07:29:00.000-08:00I can almost guarantee you, Sarah, that you will l...I can almost guarantee you, Sarah, that you will love your children more than the Microsoft Word toolbar . . . most of the time.Monica Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12063488008816574393noreply@blogger.com
